Actress Baek Jin-hee is marrying a non-celebrity in Seoul in January, according to a local media report on Monday.
Her agency AM9 confirmed, adding that she met the groom-to-be while she was in Canada to learn English last year. The pair has maintained a long-distance relationship.
The 36-year-old debuted in 2009 through the movie “Missing Person” and has appeared in a series of movies and dramas, including “Empress Ki” (2013) and “My Daughter, Geum Sa-wol” (2015). Her most recent role was in the drama “The Judge Returns,” which aired from January to February.
She will continue her acting career, shuttling between Canada and Korea.
